Building : Muskoka Boathouse designed by Christopher Simmonds Architect.
This boathouse is used as a summer residence, located in Muskoka Lakes, Ontario, Canada.
Reason of modelling: building and site context looks interesting. Simple form and giving out a very relaxing feeling.
Work in progress of Muskoka Boathouse rendering :
imported from Autocad file to 3dsmax
extruding walls and planes from floor plans, using line tool and extrude from
modifier tools.
connecting both floor plans to have an outlook view of the overall form
and the exterior design of the building.
constructing the roof and balcony
different perspective view of the final product of modelling. window holes were created
by boolean tool to extrude hole. walls and holes were patched up by converting to edit mesh
and under polygon.
